Prof Dr. Saiful is currently founder and President Of Sadar Education Society. he was formerly professor at INCEIF University and International Islamic University Malaysia. At INCEIF, he was Executive Director for the Center Of Executive Education. He was also formerly independent Director Of Eon Capital Islamic Bank and The Federation Of Investment Manager Malaysia (FIMM), Research Director At The Malaysian Institute Of Economic Research (MIER). He has also served as Shariah Committee (SC) member for AGROBANK and BS Prudential Takaful. Prof Dr. Saiful provides advisory to enhance the development of Islamic Finance and Halal Industry. This can include Islamic Social Finance engaging with the Zakat and Waqf system as well as the setting of Islamic banks and product development for micro financing and small and medium enterprises.

Dr Shaik was an Associate Professor at Unitar International University, teaching DBA course on Strategic Operations Management and Associate Professor at INCEIF Unversity lecturing Islamic Wealth Planning and Management as well as Takaful and Actuarial Practices (Islamic Insurance). He obtained his DBA from USM in 2006 and his MBA from Central Missouri State University, USA in 1984. He graduated with honours in Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University in 1983. Dr Shaikh was with Malayan Banking Berhad since 1974 and held several posts in various departments such as Branch Operations, Trade Finance, Credit and Credit Control. Dr Shaikh has also been actively involved in several consultancy works and conducted service training. His main publication is on financing the development of Waqf properties in Malaysia.
